    The Oxford Instruments βNMR Cryostat


    This cryostat is a UHV coldfinger horizontal continuous flow cryostat for the temperature range 3.5 K to 500  K.  It is located on the high field βNMR platform and operates inside the UHV bore of the 9 Tesla βNMR solenoid. It is designed specifically for online βNMR experiments at TRIUMF/ISAC.

    When the cryostat is out of the magnet and the radiation shield is removed it looks like this:
